Scott Kriens, cofounder of 1440 Multiversity Center, shows the progress of construction in November at the new educational retreat in Scotts Valley. He is turning the former Bethany University into a retreat center with experts teaching classes in cell-level healing, happiness, breaking bad habits and bouncing back from disappointment, to name a few.
